The spelling rule this week homophones. Please log into the readiwriter app to practise your spelling. Use the video link which show you how to access the site. Please practise your spellings every day ready for the spelling test in school on Monday 19th April. If you do not have your login, please message your class teacher on dojo.
For reading homework, you need to read for at least 10 minutes every day. Pupils have a reading book and green reading journal which must be signed with the pages read. Pupils will move up the reading reward tree every day they have read and be entered into a draw to receive a treat on Friday if they make it to the top of the reading reward tree. EXTRA CHALLENGE Send a short video of you reading uploaded to dojo for extra points
For Maths homework, pupils need to complete TTRockstar every day for at least 10 minutes. Being fluent with multiplication and division facts will help with every aspect of mathematical operations. Passwords have been given out to all pupils. If you do not have your login, please message your class teacher on dojo. There is a challenge on the TTRockstar: Year 6a vs Year 6b - who will win?
This term, we have been looking at the music of Carole King, learning and and appraising her song, You've got a Friend. In preparation for next lesson, please listen to the two song link provided - You've got a friend and Up on the roof and compare the similarities and differences using the musical terminology given. EXTRA CHALLENGE You could even upload a video of you practising you've got a friend.
